Computing Catalyst Releases 2025-2026 Annual Report

The Computing Catalyst supports all UMD computing majors and local K-12 students through mentoring, scholarships, professional development and community-building programs.

During the 2025-2026 academic year, the University of Maryland Computing Catalyst's work cultivating an inclusive computing community reached over 300 UMD students and 116 local middle school students.

This academic year, the Catalyst launched its new brand, strengthened its data collection processes, expanded on- and off-campus partnerships and more. The team also refined its programs based directly on student feedback to better align with their evolving academic, professional and personal goals.
