Samuel Malede Zewdu

Samuel is a science and multimedia communicator with over 10 years of experience translating complex technical topics into accessible and engaging stories for diverse audiences. In his current role with the University of Maryland’s Department of Computer Science and Computing Catalyst, he develops written, visual and multimedia content that highlights research, student experiences, educational initiatives and community engagement. His work focuses on connecting researchers, students and the broader public through storytelling, photography, video and digital communications, making advances in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, networking and other emerging technologies understandable and relevant.
