Cideth Oliva

I’m a recent University of Maryland graduate with dual degrees in information science and immersive media design and a minor in technology entrepreneurship & corporate innovation. I’m continuing my journey at UMD as a graduate student in information systems & AI and as a graduate assistant with the Computing Catalyst. As a first-generation Latina in tech, my experiences have shaped how much I value community, representation and making space for others. I’m passionate about giving back in the same way others have shown up for me and creating welcoming, supportive spaces for students in tech. Beyond work and school, I love traveling, exploring new places and lounging with my cat, Milo.
