RESET Project
Application Deadlines
Applications for the 2026-27 RESET cohort are closed.
Together, we are resetting tech culture to Represent, Excel and Support Equity in Tech. Through career development, community building and scholarship support, the RESET Project supports financially disadvantaged students, first-generation college students and students from Prince George’s County and Baltimore City. The RESET Project is a Computing Catalyst program that aims to diversify the tech workforce.
This program is supported by the Department of Computer Science and generous private donors.
Build a community for students in tech to support and encourage them throughout their computing degree and beyond.
Provide opportunities for students to explore careers in the tech workforce through networking events, mentorships and career opportunities.
Use scholarships to reduce the financial burden of a college education and address systemic wealth disparities.
The RESET Project provides annual scholarships to 20-40 computing majors through a year-long cohort program with a focus on leadership, academic excellence and empowerment.
