Meet the University of Maryland Computing Catalyst!
Our mission is to cultivate an inclusive computing community, starting right here at the University of Maryland.
A unit in the Department of Computer Science with support from the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies and the College of Information, the Catalyst is a team of full-time staff, graduate assistants and student staff. The organization supports all UMD computing majors and local K-12 students through mentoring, scholarships, professional development and community-building programs.
Through our Conference Scholarship program, the Computing Catalyst is sponsoring students, faculty and members to attend the following conferences this fall:
